Fall League Play Review

The 2018 Sunday League Play Week 1 recap

By Texas Elite 01/15/2018, 9:45am CST

What a great start to the 2018 League Play Season at the Keller Sports Park with 44 of the best Teams in the Sate competing each Sunday afternoon.  League play at the Sports Park has become far larger then just Metroplex Teams as we now have teams from as far as Navasota & Lorena TX joining DFW teams that represent 19 different ISD's each Sunday.  You may view yesterdays scores here

http://www.texaselite7on7.org/schedule/day/league_instance/38279?subseason=477220

Here is who stood out to us in week one in each Division. In our Bantam Division we had brand new teams in Fasst Elite, Horned Frogs & 20Dragons27 that are all brand new but looked good as well as the Lorena Leopard team from down South.  In our Jr Division is was great to see our former State Champions in QBR back and looked strong but they will be challenged by Ignite , Highland Park & Prosper for sure.  In our Middle School Division we had new squads such as NTX Wardogs, Ennis Lions & True Buzz that looked really good. They will certainly be challenged as the season progresses by Texas Elite 2022, Venom & FM 2023. The High School Division is incredible with the amount of talent and it was four hrs of highlight reel plays. The teams that stood out to me in no particular order were True Buzz, Arlington Colts, Goon Squad, Keller Indians & Allen Eagles. The new Power Rankings are up at http://www.texaselite7on7.org/page/show/2282486-sunday-league-play-2018-sunday-league-play-

Next week will be interesting as the undefeated squads will play as we shake things up. Special thanks to our Sponsors of Battle Sports Science, Dicks Sporting Goods and the great staff over at Advanced Neuromuscular Performance & Physical Therapy who were on site at midfield and stretching out athletes prior to play.  Also big shoutout to the group of Tdub Drone production and the great shots that we will upload from the new 360 degree camera. Want to see both game at the same time? Look at every players route, view every defenders position and see exactly what the QB is seeing from his perspective. Great stuff from that group !

Fall League Play Youth Tournament

By Texas Elite 10/09/2017, 3:45pm CDT

Yesterday concluded the Youth Fall 7on7 League Play and League Tournament. This was a fantastic 6 week League for a number of new teams and players as well as established and long standing teams. Yesterdays play was at an all-time high as we had so many close games as well as three games that went to OT. In the Bantam Division of 3rd/4th Grade in quarterfinal action it was Southlake Dragons  over the Eagles. HP Panthers over Texas Elite Red. In Semi final action it was Ole Miss Rebs over Southlake Dragons in a well played close game and it was Ambush over HP Panthers in an exciting OT game. So the finals was the #1 seed Ole Miss Rebs taking on the #2 seed Dallas Ambush. Another classic game between these two as Dallas Ambush outlasted Ole Miss 24-23 in OT!

In the Junior Division of 5th/6th Grade in Quarterfinal action it was the #5 seed Burleson Elks that pulled off the upset and got by the #4 seed Timber Creek Falcons, also Dragon Pride defeated Texas Elite Blue and in the last Quarterfinal game we had the #7 seed Keller Warriors play a great game and got by the #2 seed Springtown Patriots. Semi-final games were Dragon Pride over the Warriors and the #1 seed Dallas Tornados over the Burleson Elks. Our Championship game was another well played game but it was the #1 seed Dallas Tornados with the undefeated Season as they knocked off the #3 seed Dragon Pride in the Championship Game.
