We just completed a great event yesterday in Midlothian with the Leap Day Spring 7on7 Tourney. 36 great teams in 5 divisions on 4 fantastic fields in the Midlothian ISD.  So the recap by Divisions went like this- in our youngest division of 10U we got 2 really close teams in Chaos & Rattlers, Chaos got them early in Pool Play and Rattlers came back and got them in the Championship game. Two really good teams that I can see having some back and forth rivalry this Spring. In the 12U we had two new teams bust out that I had not previously seen Grand Elite came through as our Champions and Undefeated Elite (Hou) as a very good runner up. Always good to see new teams and two very highly skilled squads. In the 7th Grade Division it was S.C. as our Champions as they went undefeated on the day and our runner ups were the Weatherford Roos in their very first event of the year. Congratulations to those two teams! 8th Grade is always a grind and Saturday was no different as this was a 8 team division with some really good teams. Dragons Jackson won there 2nd Tournament of the Year as they beat last Tournaments Champions in Dragons Smith. But big shout out to two other teams that I really liked in Texas Flex and Hub City (Lubbock).  In the JV Division it was the HP Scots winning there 2nd event in a row as they defeated a very good Bengals (Hou) team in a great Championship game.  Our Varsity Division had 8 really good teams and it came down to Ambush and Bengals (Hou) in a great Final game that went down to the last play as Ambush hangs on to win the Championship!

Thanks to all our Coaches for bringing out your teams and families to spend a day with us as we really hope you guys had a good time. Thank you to Midlothian ISD, Dicks Sporting Goods, Wilson Sporting Goods, Rocksolid Helmets,  Battle Sports, the Quarterback Ranch,  Zorts Sports, T-Dub Drone coverage and JR's BBQ & Moore Food service
