North Texas 7v7 Championship

Sat June 4th at Frisco ISD (Wakeland & Memorial HS}

Great weekend of7v7 play that almost didn't happen as the orginal venue in Celina got dumped over 4 inches of rain on Thur/Fri but thanks to the fantastic customer service of the Frisco ISD we were able to move the event to turf stadiums 6 miles to the south. So thanks again Frisco ISD! Special shout outs to our Champions and runner ups over the weekend in all divisions. In our 10U Division it was the #1 seed Blitz in only their 2nd appearance as our Champions as they defeated a 2 time Champion in the  #2 seed Prosper Chiefs. In the 12U Division it was first time appearance for the Flex Chargers as the gained the #1 seed and went undefeated on the day as they beat first time entry in Stampede out of Tulsa in the Championship. 13U Division was fantastic and both had great Semi final games and Championship Game. Our Champion were the #1 seed Aledo Bearcats over the #2 seed Lojo out of Lovejoy.  Special congrats to DFW Pride Org as the won the 14U & 15U Divisions Saturday and went a combined 10-0 on the day. Well done fellas. Our runner ups in 14U were NTX United out of Flower Mound and in 15U our runner up were Grand Elite. Both of these divisions were packed with previous Champions in prior events. great job by all these teams in all of our Divisions. Up next is the warmup to College Station with the Hotter N Hell Tourney on June 18th at Old Celina Park https://www.texaselite7on7.org/news_article/show/1228436 and then we finish the Season with the Tournament of Champions in College Station on June 25th & 26th!
